State

The state provides funds that would have been used to fund the former State Medical Plan in Kent County to provide healthcare for persons with a household income underneath the federal poverty level.

Federal

The federal government matches local and state dollars to provide healthcare for low-income, uninsured persons.

Area businesses, foundations, organizations, and individuals can make direct contributions to ensure everyone in our community has access to healthcare. 

Here’s how your dollars can help:

Plan B Support
$600,000 = coverage for 1,000 Plan B members annually
$60,000 = coverage for 100 Plan B members annually
$6,000 = coverage for 10 Plan B members annually

Plan C Support
$80,400 = annual premium subsidy for 100 small business employees
$40,200 = annual premium subsidy for 50 small business employees
$8,040 = annual premium subsidy for 10 small business employees
$804 = annual premium subsidy for 1 small business employee

Medication Assistance Program Support
$72,000 = medication costs for 300 members for 12 months
$24,000 = medication costs for 100 members for 12 months
$2,400 = medication costs for 10 members for 12 months
