Kent Health Plan Corporation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that was formed in May 2001. Its purpose is to develop innovative programs that improve access to healthcare for thousands of low-income people in Kent County without health insurance.
Kent Health Plan (KHP) currently offers:
Plan A
is the Adult Benefits Waiver (ABW) program serving people with incomes of less than $304* per month. Some organizations refer to this program as the Adult Medical Program (AMP).
Plan B
is for individuals whose incomes are 150% or less of poverty and who are not eligible for any government sponsored healthcare program.
Medication Assistance Program
provides coordinated access to prescription medications for Kent County residents whose incomes are 200% or less of poverty and who are not eligible for any government sponsored prescription program.
